We are delighted to introduce Jana Alfarone as our new Middle School Science Teacher at Saratoga Central Catholic. Jana brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our science department, where she will be teaching Sixth Grade Science, Eighth Grade Science, and Forensics.
Jana's academic achievements include:
Associate in Science in Medical Laboratory Technology from SUNY Farmingdale
Bachelor of Science in Education from SUNY Old Westbury
Masters in Continuing Education for Teachers from SUNY Stony Brook
Jana has dedicated nearly three decades to education, serving as a Sixth Grade Science Teacher at Woodland Middle School in East Meadow, Long Island, NY, from 1993 to 2022.
"I am excited to get to know students in small group settings in a faith-based environment," Jana expressed when asked about joining our school community.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Jana has been married to her husband, Rob, for thirty-two years. Her son, Jace, recently graduated from SCC in 2024, and she also has three adult daughters.
We warmly welcome Mrs. Alfarone and look forward to the positive impact she will bring to SCC. Mrs. Alfarone will be a valuable addition to our accomplished science department, enriching it with her extensive experience and dedication to excellence.
