On December 5, 2024, the entire student body of Saratoga Central Catholic School embarked on a field trip downstate to New York City. The highlight of the trip was attending the iconic Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall, followed by the magical sight of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.
However, this year’s visit held a deeper meaning for our SCC students. Earl Albert, the generous man who donated the magnificent Rockefeller tree, suffered a stroke just weeks before the lighting ceremony. Unable to attend the festivities, his family extended a heartfelt request for Christmas cards to lift his spirits.
Without hesitation, our SCC community stepped up in a spirit of kindness. Students across grades 6-12 came together to craft and send over 100 holiday cards to Mr. Albert, wishing him well and thanking him for his gift to the city.
We are incredibly proud of our students for demonstrating compassion and embodying the true spirit of the season. Great work, Saints!
