Our senior Government class recently attended the Warren County Bar Foundation's Legal Symposium, thanks to an invitation from Board of Trustees member Mrs. Rose Place (P '16 & '19). The day began with a tour of the Warren County Sheriff’s facility, including the SWAT truck, before hearing from a panel of legal experts, including Judge Kate Hogan, the Warren County District Attorney, public defenders, and private attorneys.
The symposium focused on real-life legal issues our students may encounter as they turn 18, like dealing with leases, getting pulled over, understanding party-related consequences, filing taxes, and more. A valuable and eye-opening experience as our seniors prepare for life after high school!
