Faith-Based Learning

We believe education is about more than academics. While our students come from a variety of religious backgrounds, the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Catholic faith are an important part of school life. We use these teachings to help students understand the importance of kindness, respect, service to others, and making good decisions.

Our goal is for students to leave SCC not only with a strong education, but with the character and values to be good people and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Theology Classes

Students learn the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church while exploring their own beliefs and building a personal relationship with their faith.

School Mass

Our school community gathers monthly and on special feast days for Mass at St. Peter's Church, celebrated by SCC's priest and campus minister. Families are welcome to join us as we come together in faith and prayer.

Community Service

Students complete service hours each year with organizations and causes that interest them, building confidence, empathy, and real-world skills. Our Service Club, one of SCC's largest clubs, offers even more opportunities to give back alongside classmates.

Peer Ministry

Students in grades 11 and 12 selected for the Peer Ministry program take on leadership roles, organizing and leading monthly retreats that help younger students grow in faith. Peer Ministers also serve as eucharistic ministers at school Masses.
