SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY - 6/1/2023 - Saratoga Central Catholic (SCC) is thrilled to
introduce Abby Arceneaux as the next Head Coach and leader of SCC Softball. With an impressive coaching career spanning 16 years of college softball, Abby brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to our program.
Abby's coaching journey has seen her excel at various levels of collegiate athletics. She boasts 9 years as a Head Coach in Division II, 4 years as an Assistant Coach in Division I, and 3 years in Division III. Her extensive background and deep understanding of the game make her an invaluable addition to SCC.
Abby Arceneaux has left an impressive legacy as a player too. During her collegiate career at Union College, Abby's talent and dedication resulted in numerous accolades, including being named an All-American, receiving the Liberty League Rookie of the Year award, and earning the distinction of 1st Team All-Star all four of her years. Prior to her college career, Abby's remarkable skills at Mechanicville High School led to her induction into the NYS High School Hall of Fame, recognition as the 1st Class Inductee in the Mechanicville Athletics Hall of Fame, and achievements such as leading her team to a Class C State Championship and being named Player of the Year in New York State twice. Her outstanding abilities were further acknowledged with the Section-ll Athlete of the Year award.
Saratoga Central Catholic is thrilled to have Abby Arceneaux take the helm of SCC Softball. Her passion for the game, extensive experience, and commitment to excellence make her the ideal leader for our program. Under Abby's guidance, we are confident that our student-athletes will thrive, pushing boundaries and will achieve new heights.
