Saratoga Central Catholic School provides a number of tools to help your child find the right college.

For more information on college preparatory information, please visit our Naviance page.  SCC uses Naviance to help students with college and career research in areas such as:

SAT Information

SATs are usually taken in the Junior Year of high school and the first two months of the Senior Year.  Students sign up for the SAT on the College Board website (http://www.collegeboard.org).

It is important that students have their scores sent to SCC. Scores are sent to SCC, we can forward them to colleges.  If they are not sent to SCC, students must pay for College Board ($10 for each request) to send the score to colleges.

SCC’s School Code is 335050. Please use this on all College Board forms and correspondence.

PSAT Information

PSATs are given to the Junior class each year. There is a small fee for the exam.  Students who take this exam in their Junior Year are eligible for the National Merit Scholarship.  The exam results are also used to match students with colleges and identify additional scholarship opportunities based on scores and interests through the exam.

ACT Information

Students are encouraged to take the ACT exam as well.  The ACT exam is very similar to the SAT, but includes science and social studies.
