Campus Ministry / Community Outreach
Saratoga Central Catholic's Campus Ministry coordinates all religious services and service projects.
Liturgy and Prayer Services are held at 9:00 am at St. Peter's Church. For Liturgy dates please refer to our calendar pages (Please note - No student will be dismissed from Liturgies for any appointments. Attendance at all Liturgies is mandatory for all students).
Each class has a specific Community Service Project, please refer to the table below for the various Service Projects the classes are participating in this year.
Community Service Projects
- Trick or Treat for Hunger (7th and 8th Graders). Students will deliver bags to neighborhood homes on Monday and pick up filled bags on Friday. Food goes to the EOC.
- Thanksgiving Food Drive
- Thanksgiving BOCES Luncheon (12th grade)
- Adopt A Family (collect gift cards)
- Buy a Heart for Ronald McDonald House (10th grade)
- Rice Bowl - Money will once again be collected for the needy
- 9th Graders will help out at the Sisters of St. Joseph Ziti Dinner (a major fund raiser for them) in Latham
- Prom for BOCES (11th grade)
Each class will participate in a Retreat, please refer to the school calendar for the dates when the various classes will be holding their retreats.
