SCC News & Notes
October 2, 2015
The month of October brings about numerous things… The month of the Rosary, Numerous Feast Days and Cancer Awareness which has always been a way in which the faculty, staff and students give back. This year it holds a special meaning as one of our teachers was diagnosed with breast cancer and continues her treatment in Boston, Massachusetts. We have honored her in a picture with her initials, B.H. for Mrs. Bridget Holmes! The faculty, staff and students continue to pray for her, her family and all those battling cancer. The money raised during the day (dress down & “Spike Out Cancer” volleyball tournament) will help support the Mollie Wilmot Radiation and Oncology Center in Saratoga Springs and will help with the numerous expenses that Mrs. Holmes has had. May God continue to give her strength!
